A Good Day’s Dig Vol. 2 is a continuation of our 1st drum breaks release, now with a higher volume and broad range of content. Royalty-free drum breaks and one-shots with a focus on authenticity and variety, as well as the body and grit you expect from a genuine crate-dug break.
We brought in some extra funky drummers to create some extra beefy breaks, enabling the BML team just to focus on the sound of dirty drum break grit. We were blessed to have the brilliant William Stokes on board with his tight, heavy-hitting beats - still processed with our characterful console, outboard gear and a multitude of microphones, all to magnetic tape of course! Big beefy drums to tape are something we never tire of.
Again, at the British Music Library, we have a personal passion for drum breaks and take great pleasure in going deeper and deeper into this niche we love so much. You will struggle to find better live drum kit sounds, performed by professional musicians, anywhere else. Bring your next project to life and get ready to chop and mix up these classic sounds.
These are vintage drums played and recorded the right way, using top-range microphones and reel to reel recorders as well as various spring and digital reverbs to achieve the sound we all search for on a good day's dig.
