Dj’s, Producers and label owners, Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie AKA Inland Knights hail from Nottingham UK, a city with a rich musical legacy, particularly for house music. By ’98 Laurence and Andy had made the inevitable step into production and the same year the Dropmusic label was born with the release of ‘Inland Knights vol 1’. As Inland Knights Riley and Ritchie undertook a busy schedule in the studio to write tracks for Drop (almost all of the early output was entirely Inland knights, despite many monikers). Dropmusic has gone on to become one of the most highly regarded house labels in recent years(with 60 plus releases to date), and Inland knights have gone on to become one of the most respected production outfits in the house world, regularly taking on remix duties for fellow labels and producers.
Nice tight beats and grooves here, plenty of choice for a wide range of house types. All quite crunchy and fat and easy to use. Its got the jacking swing, Would recommend
I've given this an 8 even thought it's not my cuppa tea. Plenty or variation and well produced. This is more towards the generic commercial sounding house music with that old school speed garage vibe. If this is you're thing then this is sure to please.
exactly what it ways on the tin, very large selection of on point hat and top end loops to give your track that elusive swing you've been trying to get for so long. Clean and organized. shame it's only in wav form
In this pack you'll find lots of gritty and effected samples perfect for layering up to get a nice full sound. Slow beat loops that can be sped up for house music also. Nice moody piano loops too
This is very much on a deep house tip here, the darker side. Pretty fresh sounds and well produced and well laid out. good solid bass lines and melodics too. I'd recommend this to all you house producers out there that are looking to add a slice of mood to your music
Swinging tight crispy ,, did i say swinging? loads of swing on these loops , good sound selections and grouping , plenty of variation and content. Cut up twitchy music and vocals all make this a good pack for any dance producer to have. Its the sort of pack that will help you build your music up to where you want it as apposed to just writing you track around an epic loop.
Free masons pack this out with lots of quality content, I was impressed at the production value on this.. it sounds Big.. the synth sections are very commercial dance, and there's not much variety there as it's just all epic big rooms stuff. the bass loops section is similar in this respect. The rest of the pack is more varied thankfully which is where it comes good for me. really good beats and loops all round in this respect. it's basically really good if you write house music,, and brilliant if you write commercial epic house.
Does exactly what it says in the tin.. It the sort of thing you only use sparingly ,,quirky old crackly talking and such,, but there;s a place for this in alot of music and I recommend you check this out. the content is good and the variation too, it's pretty unique to whats out there pack wise also. so have a ganders.
Brilliant pack!! Just what i want in a sample pack this. Bursting with funk and raw bass lines all really well produced and laid out. Keys, basses, beats.. all perfect,, hardly any padding out with lame sounds,, just on the money is all. This is the most I've ever sample pack in my own music,, It's also inspiring to push your own ideas further,
It's a great pack that's got a very particular swing to it.. A good one! Lots of elements and content here to add to your own vibe and well produced too to they sit in nicely. good variations too.. I would recommend this definitely.
Good pack this one, In particular I like the bass lines and loops.., very tasty. beats are good too.. Good variation and amount of content. It does what it says on the tin very well, Recommended!
