Five complete song-based female vocal toolkits draw on the sublime talents of three first-call session singers, between them serving up a diversity of styles and characters: from soul-stirringly jazzy to evocatively ethereal. Of course, no expense was spared on the recording chain either, which centers on a vintage (’80s) Neumann U87 microphone and a Focusrite ISA One preamp.

Each song comprises two verses and a chorus, plus a variety of other sections, depending on the layout of the song – bridges, pre-choruses, ad libs, outros and more. And for optimum flexibility, a range of deployment options is provided. In the Sections folders, each acapella has been broken down into its constituent passages – Verse, Chorus, Bridge, etc – rendered in both Dry and Wet, for rearrangement, slicing up for import into your sampler, or whatever else takes your fancy. Finally, every vocal track within each Section acapella has been separated out into individual stems for the utmost in control: leads, BVs, harmonies, double tracks and ad libs, all EQ’d and de-essed for that mix-ready DnB sound.
