Soul Intent aka Alex Judd started his journey into production in 2005 when Alex set up Brutal Recordings with a group of Nottingham based DJ's and producers under the name Dataset.

Then in December 2006 Alex sent off some solo material which received airplay from the likes of Mary Ann Hobbs and Grooverider on Radio 1, and DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra. A career highlight came in 2010 when Pendulum included 'Rebel Music' (released on DJ Randall’s Mac 2 imprint) in their Radio 1 Essential Mix.

In 2013 Alex started his own imprint Lossless Music (inc sub labels Dope Plates and Exkursions). Early releases have enjoyed high praise from some of the world's leading music press including DJ Mag (9/10 for LOSS004) and Mixmag (DnB Tune of the Month for LOSS005).

Alex has now taken his sound across the UK and Europe, DJ’ing at some of the most respected parties around including City Flow (Belgium), Star Warz (Belgium), Sun & Bass (Sardinia), Cheeky Mondays (Holland), Airport Jam (Estonia), Fabric (UK), Detonate (UK), Spectrum (Ireland) and Soul In Motion (UK).

Inside DnB Horizon, you’ll find all of Alex’s sonic secret weapons, blending the skittish breaks and deep basslines of golden era jungle with clean pads, keys and synth work to saturate your arrangements with contemporary elements. Rolling percussion and complex arps will ensure your high tempo experiments sound concise and clinical, whilst the array of immersive SFX and strings will colour your mixdown and ensure your track is coming correct from front to back.
