Fuelled by a core set of principles revolving around an adept sense of what connects them together through sound, in combination with a wealth of experience and a goal to find evolution and talent from the sonic horizon of the modern world.

Going back to the start, the roots of the label are in the Bad Taste conceptual LP series which came out through the legendary BC Recordings in 2005, giving listeners their first taste of legends such as Noisia, Chase & Status, State of Mind and many others.

Officially forming into the label ‘Bad Taste Recordings’ in 2007 as today’s A+R director and label boss Vegas together with long-time partner Maldini (both members of the seminal outfit Bad Company UK who have rightfully earned their place in the history books of music) opened its doors.

Bad Taste Recordings’ first volume of sample libraries weighs in at an impressive 2.43 GB of content, with input from label boss Vegas, alongside stable artists Akov (Eatbrain, Cause4Concern), Billain (Critical, Inivisible) and Filip Motovunski (Subtitles, Born on Road). What follows is a mind-blowing selection of immaculately produced sounds, all ready to use out of the box.

You’ll find a staggering array of loops and one-shots inside displaying real sound design wizardry. The essentials are found in abundance, with knockout kicks and technical snares ready to cement the backbone of your track into place. Thunderous modulated bass and roaring synth design form the beating heart of the collection, ready to be paired up with the FX to create a filled-out mix. You’ll even find a selection of bonus Serum and Omnisphere presets to help you reverse engineer and learn the secrets that went into this collection.

Loops within roll out between 172-176bpm, making this collection perfect for drum & bass music of any ilk, however, is best suited to neurofunk and other hard styles of dance music.
