To kick off its new series, Deep Sampled, Organic Loops enlisted the cello-tinkering techniques of Alexander Painter.

The resulting drones, swells, stabs, riffs, and other low-end loops, are fit for the finale of any dark, twisted movie you like. Plucked, bowed, struck and scraped with whatever was lying about, the expertly recorded instruments have been mined for some marvellous music.

Everything has a unique colour and character, thanks to some inspired capture and processing considerations.

All in, a cracking kit for cinematic scorers.
