With a content of 2.19 GB, Total Blackout is a set of loops and one-shots for electronic music, especially drum n’ bass and jungle production. It combines all three previously released Blackout sample packs with brand new bonus content created by Black Sun Empire, Neonlight, Pythius, State of Mind, Emperor, Malux, Redpill, Optical, Telekinesis, Counterstrike and Proxima. That’s a heck of a heavyweight lineup. The tempo of the loops ranges between 95 and 175 BPM, and all samples are recorded in 44.1 kHz/24-bit WAV format. This huge pack also includes 272 soft sampler patches and a fairly decent amount of synthesizer presets for Serum, Vital and Surge virtual instruments for your convenience. Since this is a dn’b and jungle sample pack, expect to find plenty of saturated basses and in-your-face drums. The accompanying FX samples are great for filling dead sections in a track. There’s nothing wimpy about this pack – all sounds are full-on terrorizing. That’s why I’m highly recommending this.
