Produced by Aneek Thapar,Tom Smeeton and Jon Atkinson, Loopmasters' cinematic tour de force features one of the most interesting collections of drum and percussion loops we've ever heard, perfectly balancing acoustic and electronic instrumentation, and pulling off some remarkable manoeuvres with reverb and compression. And the melodic/harmonic side of things is no less arresting, either, realising all manner of exquisite synth-and guitar-based sounds. It's a pheonomenal release, although the "Percussion FX" loops leave us a bit cold.
