Ascendant UK production duo Exmoor Emperor let their imaginations run riot for their 885MB soundware debut on Loopmasters. 64 stylistically exploratory drum and perc loops combine stemmed beats with one-offs, and partner perfectly with the 30 languid synth basslines; while the 47 loops draw on miriad influences, from IDM to future bass. The one-shots are a more-colourful-than-average bunch too, giving ear-catching hits, stabs, chords, FX and more.
