It begins by hitting the brakes, then slowing down a bit and letting the dusty trail settle. ModeAudio has crafted a sample set with steaming downtempo grooves, inspirational synth leads, exquisite pads, turbined bass patterns and off-kilter textures and SFX.  

This pack is so refined and ready-made that all you have to do is come up with melodies and arrangement. Cartography is a library that is 692 MB in size, with samples recorded in 44.1 kHz/24-bit format. It is comprised of 532 files, including 110 MIDI loops and (ModeAudio-only exclusive) 79 synth tail samples. 

The sonic quality is outstanding and most of the loops are very inspiring and fresh, especially the punchy synth bass and bass guitars. But what I really like are the nice processed electric guitars that sound great. I like how they were processed with delay and reverb – to give it that nice sparkle. 

For those looking for a dose of swinging hip hop and smoky trip hop samples, look no further as Cartography delivers the goods. A nice pack full of sounds for song starters or to augment into your own projects.
