Loopmasters continues its excellent Vibes series with a pack that mixes early era ska and rocksteady sounds with more modern influences, based on artists such as Skatalites, Prince Buster, The Specials and more. You'll find 687 loops and 233 one-shots covering drums. bass, guitar, organs and brass, all recorded through vintage equipment and a Neve desk. The pack is essentially several track performances that have been chopped into multiple smaller phrases. This means there's a lot of repetition with subtle differences, which is great for making live sounding arrangements (but maybe less so for your hard drive space!). The only downside is some inconsistencies in whether some loops are effected or dry.
