Industry vet Monodeluxe has plied his trade since the mid '90s, so knows his way around a pro-sounding beat. Here, the Italian-born producer brings y'all a bulging 1.3GB pack of house sounds, on that lo-fi tip. Getting that classic dusty dance aesthetic in the pocket is trickier than it looks, but Mono D turns in some sublime production - hazy grooves, club-rattling kicks, and tape-warmed piano chords join a plethora of pads, hits, vocals, and crusty drum loops - each brimming with potential. Great for the intended genre of the title, then, and a worthy collection for bolstering many other sample libraries with.
