Jay Brook aka Ginger Snaps is a multi-instrumentalist from boogie-down Northampton, and he's here to furnish you with funk. On his first artist sample pack he's dug deep into his repertoire of snappy breaks, groovy organs, and deep, deep bass, to bring you a set of tight loops that should bring your arrangements up a notch. There are folders and folders of the good stuff, with construction kits and multis galore, plus sampler patches, synth presets, and MIDI files for added flavour. The tone is vintage, but with enough polish to cut through. And the vocals give a touch of songwriter presence, which is a nice addition. Fans of Speedometer, Lack of Afro, and The Dap-Kings, will want to take note - if you like your cuts deep and toe-tapping, then Ginger Snap's got your back.,
