Freaky Loops return with their fourth volume of twenty piano themes. Delivered in both audio and MIDI versions, these are great for analyzing, grabbing and using the structures contained within. Mostly, version 4 doesn’t live it to the expectations set by previous versions – the crescendos generally prove worse than those in the previous three volumes, almost indulging in teenage pathos. Nevertheless, this pack may still be useful for setting up emotional melodies – we’ll see in version 5.
