Ethereal Electronica sits somewhere between the expansive beauty of Jon Hopkins and the more playful, world music inspired sounds of Bonobo. The pack features 785MB of 24-bit audio in a variety of formats, although the guitar and soundscape folders only appear in WAV format. From the deep, layered pianos and effected guitar riffs, to the inventive beats littered with found-sound percussion, each loop has been heavily processed and is dripping with character. There are also warm analogue basses, shimmering synths and cinematic pads and soundscapes, alongside 169 decent drum hits and Foley percussion. You'll probably want to use the WAV versions of the loops, as the Acidized and Apple Loops versons unfortunately have some subtle clicks. As a nice addition, there are also 69 MIDI files so you can experiment with using the well-written riffs with your own sounds.
