Vaporwave City is an electronic sample pack primarily focused on authentic and ethereal sounds of the 80s. Just looking at the library cover alone gives you that instant 80s nostalgia. This 1.7 GB library features the finest pads, warm sub basses, beautiful keys, chunky drums, evocative synths, flutes, horns, atmospheres, FX and more! The samples were carefully processed to give you that lo-fi feel, and are designed to work in genres such as Hip Hop, Chillwave, Downtempo, Ambient and Lo-Fi. The resulting sounds are really hazy and dreamlike with plenty of analog warmth. I find the melodic loops useful and the 25 instrument phrases programmed really well. These phrases are very handy if you ran out of ideas or need an inspiration to start a tune. The quality is great and there are many materials to choose from. Standouts are the drum loops as they sound very polished. As with other Loopmasters libraries, this pack is delivered in 24 bit WAV, Rex2 and Apple AIFF format, with the inclusion of 53 software sampler patches for NNXT, EXS24, Kontakt and Halion. With so many sounds in Vaporwave City, I would say that this is a nice library to easily augment into your own pre-existing projects.
