Niche's new expansion for NI Maschine consists of 15 groups of 16 samples each, accompanied by a series of demonstrative MIDI patterns to get you inspired, and a Project stringing them together. Every sound is processed with Maschine's onboard effects, for instant customisation, and as well as the expected drums and percussion, there's a plethora of basses and melodic hits and licks, with instrumentation taking in guitars, keys and synths. The sounds - especially the super-phat kicks and snares - are amazing and the programming is exemplary. OSHH is a must-have.
